Questions people ask
Which insurance companies cover AI?
Standalone AI policies on the register come from AIUC, Cowbell, Testudo, Mosaic Insurance, Armilla and Relm Insurance. Others add affirmative AI wording to cyber, tech E&O or professional liability policies, among them Coalition, Beazley, CFC, Hiscox and AXA XL. Each listing links to its source.
Can a small business buy AI insurance?
Some of the cover we track is sold online to small companies, such as Corgi and Embroker's AI endorsements on tech E&O. HSB has announced AI liability for small businesses through partner carriers, pending regulatory approval. Most standalone AI policies are sold through brokers.
Why do some listings show no limit?
We only show a limit when the insurer or a cited source publishes one. A blank limit means none is published, not that the cover is unlimited or that we estimated it.
Does any insurer pay to be listed?
No. Listings are free, not ranked by payment and not sponsored. We do not sell insurance or take commissions.
